July 11th is #NoShameDay 2016! We look forward to hearing your stories. By being transparent and open, we can reduce the dangerous misconceptions and stigmas that surround mental health. We can also encourage and support those living with illness. Let's do it together with #NoShame.
National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month was the brainchild of late author Bebe Moore Campbell. The US House of Representatives proclaimed July as this special month in 2008, aiming to improve access to mental health treatment and services through increased public awareness.
